 RECession Festival says goodbye for now and hope you got some great concert experiences. It has been a successful experience for the crew in RECession, and it has at some point cost a little sweat to get the puzzle to move up, especially with a program of 9-10 bands every evening on Vestergade 58. This would not be possible witout the volunteers who helped, both our own stagehands and the volunteers at the venues. A big thanks to you. We wish to thank the venues Voxhall, Vestergade 58, Gallery V58 and Sct. Paul's church because they managed to create some great opportunities on the venues For RECession, and a big thanks to the amazing bands that played there. | RECession Festival cooperate with Aarhus Art Academy |
 SmokeProof Art - Smoke proof art in the smoking room at the venue Vestergade 58 RECesssion Festival in Aarhus offers this year not only a number of interesting bands, but has included art as a part of the repertoire. In the smoking room in the basement on Vestergade 58 have seven students from Aarhus Art Academy worked hard to transform the space into an artistic experience. "Smoke Proof Art" attempts to provide a comprehensive commentary on smoking and smoking areas in general. This takes its form as an animated rabbit, video portraits of smokers, luminous body parts that leave the room and the ashtrays with terrific movie stars. The smoking room is regarded as one of the last refuges for some of the last smokers, and as a possible transition to an even more restrictive society. But is smoking ultimately a historical memory? Can you stub out your cigarette in the art and what has the rabbit to do with it? | RECession Festival adds international and national DJ |
 When RECession festival kicks off the days 30. – 31. October the venue Vestergade 58 contains at least 9-10 bands from home and abroad every evening, but now also RECession Afterparty. At the Afterparty you can hear the two English Dj's Adam S and Ben Hoo and Danish Carsten Reinholdt, Rasmus Weng, DJ Kipp, and the Aarhus-based DJ collective Play On! A day ticket for Vestergade 58 costs 80 DKK but if you only inter the afterparty you can buy tickets for 60 DKK, which will start at midnight and end at. 5am Friday and Saturday night at Vestergade 58th. As you can see there is laid up for some afterparties at Vestergade 58 with both Indie Dj's, down tempo minimal tech house, Groovy hard Pumphouse and Rockabilly, Truckabilly and Hilbilly The Good Old Fashion Way on two different stages. |

 Saturday-AfterpartyAdam S is one of the hottest new breed of Dj's/producers currently making his mark on the British house music scene. At the age of 22, originating from Sheffield, UK, Adam has been a major influence around the Local house music scene from the tender age of 18, bursting onto the national scene from the success of his productions, which are currently making serious waves. Over the past year Adam has had two tracks released on Toolroom Records “Go Deep” & “What’s Occurring” both of which were featured on “Toolroom Knights” Compilation albums mixed by Mark Knight. His productions have had attracted interest from international press such as mix mag & have gained strong support from the likes of Carl Cox, Mark Knight and Layo and Bushwacka to name a few.
